Kim Dorsey

Softball Instructor

Kim Dorsey was a four year starter as a shortstop at Salisbury University. With the Seagulls, she finished with a career batting average of .430, slugging percentage of .703, and OBP of .504. She currently ranks second in school history with 34 home runs and top ten with 144 RBIs and 160 runs scored. 


In addition, Kim helped Salisbury win the Capital Athletic Conference two times, paving the way for the Seagulls to advance to the NCAA D-III Softball Championships three times. While she was with the team, they made an appearance in the National Championship game in 2014. Kim was selected as an All-American three times, including a First Team CAC selection in 2014 & 2016. 


After Salisbury, she worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Softball team at Stevenson University during the 2018-2019 season. Coach Dorsey is available for one-on-one/group/team lessons for softball hitting, fielding, and catching.
